Native plants are beautiful, drought-resistant, and beneficial to wildlife, but how do you make them look their best in your home landscape? Learn design principles and native plant selection in this workshop with University of Illinois Extension.

This workshop has two parts:

1. Educational lecture by Extension horticulture educators and Master Gardener. This session will focus on landscape design principles, native plants resources, and incorporating native plants into your landscape. January 30th from 6-8pm CST via Zoom.

2. At the end of the lecture, attendees will be invited to attend one of two virtual coaching sessions, where they will be mentored by a Master Naturalist or Master Gardener who will help with garden layout, plant selection, and troubleshooting. These coaching sessions will be held on Zoom on February 13th and 27th, from 6-8pm. Homework is required to attend the coaching session. Capacity for coaching sessions is limited and attendance of the lecture does not guarantee a spot in a coaching session.

Deadline to register: January 28, 2024
