4-H Kick-Off & Party for the Preserves with FPCC

Join Cook County 4-H and the Forest Preserves of Cook County (FPCC) to celebrate National Public Lands Day with a full day of activities at Camp Bullfrog! 

On Saturday, September 26, 2026, FPCC will host its Party for the Preserves from 12 - 9 pm, and 4-H will be in attendance, hosting its annual Kick-Off from 12 - 3 pm. The Kick-Off is a great chance for new and current 4-H families to learn about 4-H, meet leaders, and participate in games, demonstrations, and family activities. 

Additional activities will be provided by the FPCC, including:

  • Paddling: Noon to 6 pm
  • Funkadesi Live Performance: 5:30 pm
  • Night Walks & Telescope Viewing: 7:30 to 9 pm
