Come learn about the sourdough bread-making process with Jenna Smith and Nick Frillman, Illinois Extension Educators. Participants will make their very own sourdough starter to take home and nurture. This class will include demonstrations of the main steps of the sourdough bread-making process, and will cover the importance of sourcing and using locally/regionally sourced grains. Class will conclude with a tasting of pre-baked sourdough bread. Come prepared with your sourdough questions in mind.
