Do you love gardening? Do you want to know more about gardening topics? Do you enjoy sharing your knowledge with others? If you’re thinking “yes, yes, and yes!” then the upcoming Illinois Extension Master Gardener Training is for you. Applications are currently live!

Illinois Extension Master Gardener training will take place this fall and consists of in person sessions on various gardening topics such as pest and diseases, trees and shrubs, annuals and perennials, and more. Training will be held Wednesdays for eleven consecutive weeks from September 2nd to November 11th.  

If accepted into the program, completion of 60 volunteer hours is a requirement to become a certified Master Gardener.

To apply visit go.illinois.edu/2020NorthCookMGApp. Application deadline is May 9, 2020. All instruction, manuals and materials are included in a $350 program fee. Please note that submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance into the program.
