2020 Cook County South Suburban Master Gardener Training

Do you love gardening? Would you like to expand your garden knowledge? Do you enjoy sharing your knowledge with others? If you think “yes, yes, yes!” then the upcoming Illinois Extension Master Gardener Training and Certification Program might be for you.

University of Illinois Extension Master Gardener training will take place this fall at rotating locations in the south and southwest suburbs of Cook County. The training begins on September 1, 2018 and runs for 11 consecutive Tuesdays from 9 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. Extension Horticulture Educators will deliver a comprehensive training covering a breadth of home landscape and gardening topics. If accepted into the program, attendance at all 11 training sessions and completion of 60 volunteer hours is a requirement to become a certified Master Gardener.
