Shanda Felder works with households with limited resources and believes all families are entitled to healthy lifestyles. She educates county residents about food safety, physical activity, and using their food dollars wisely. 

Felder began her career at the University of Illinois in 2003. Her work focuses on teaching Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Programs in Cook County.
