This is your chance to learn how to make OpenSciEd come alive in your middle school classroom! As nationally certified facilitators, University of Illinois Extension STEM Educators are excited to bring middle school OpenSciEd professional learning to Cook County!

OpenSciEd is a national open-source curriculum project that is organized as an integrated middle school sequence. This curriculum launch will immerse you in best practices for making the shifts called for by A Framework for K-12 Science Education and the NGSS and how to use the embedded tools within OpenSciEd curricula.
