Trent Baldwin is an Extension Educator serving the Chicago High School for Agricultural Sciences and Cook County. Joining University of Illinois Extension in July 2024, Trent works with students and staff at Chicago Ag to support the next generation of leaders and innovators for our food and fiber system. Their expertise is in hands on learning experiences in ag education and leadership development.
Originally from the Salinas Valley in California, Trent is a former California 4-H and FFA member. They have earned a Bachelor of Science in Community Leadership from the Ohio State University and a Master of Science in Community Development from University of California Davis. Their previous research experience with the University of California has related to LGBTQ+ health equity, and they are passionate about engaging student leaders in community change related to their food system and beyond.
