Veronica Aranda is a highly motivated and professional health educator adept at collaborating with residents, organizations, and other institutions to identify and address health issues that affect the local community. Ms. Aranda is skilled at planning, conducting and evaluating comprehensive health education programs for diverse populations across the lifespan. She is bilingual and provides health education programming in English and in Spanish.
Ms. Aranda earned her Master's in Public Health focusing on community health sciences from the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) and has a bachelor’s degree from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Prior to joining Extension, she managed different research projects at the former UIC Health Research and Policy Centers. Now, she enjoys working with communities and communicating health information in a clear manner that will help and encourage them to make informed decisions on their health.
