Julie M. Moreschi works to provide training, support, and mentorship for the SNAP-Ed staff in the Northwest Region of Illinois.

Julie Moreschi has been a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist since 1985, and she holds a Master of Science in Clinical Nutrition from Rush University.

Julie has previous experience in medical nutrition therapy, foodservice management, and teaching.

Julie’s professional interests lie primarily in the areas of community nutrition, maternal and child wellness, and obesity prevention/intervention from preconception through pre-K. She is a chapter author in two textbooks—Managing Food and Nutrition Services for the Culinary, Hospitality, and Nutrition Professions and Nutrition and Public Health—and is involved in many community organizations.
