Cook and Connect with Extension
A hands-on cooking experience designed for youth ages 9–13. Participants will explore new flavors, practice teamwork, and learn mindful eating habits. Each month, youth will prepare fun recipes and discover how to slow down and truly enjoy their food.
Heart healthy choices for diabetes
Are you or someone you care about living with diabetes, or at risk for developing diabetes or other chronic illnesses? Nutrition and Wellness Educator, Kris Juelfs, with University of Illinois Extension, will exchange practical tips and advice with peers who are navigating the challenges of living with diabetes.
The February session will cover heart-healthy choices for Diabetes, at the Morrison-Talbott Library in Waterloo.
