Garlic bulbs

Growing Garlic | Belvidere | Nov 17 at 6 PM

ATTENTION: Garlic lovers! Do you know now is the time to plant garlic for a summer harvest? Planting Method: Garlic is grown from individual cloves, not seeds. Each clove becomes a full bulb. Best Time to Plant: Fall planting (6–8 weeks before the ground freezes) yields larger bulbs. Spring planting is possible, but results in smaller bulbs. Register above or call the Ida Public Library at 815-544-3838 for this free program by a Boone County Master Gardener.
