Features of Bugleweed

Body

This perennial provides quick-spreading ground cover with spikes of violet blue flowers in the spring. Good ground cover in shaded areas but may tend to get aggressive and find its way to the lawn

Care

  • Shade to sun with moisture.
  • Remove old flowers after blooming and occasionally thin the planting to open up to better air circulation and prevent stem diseases.
