Exotic cup-shaped blooms on plants with strongly cut blue-green foliage.

Care

  • Need very well-drained soil especially over the winter.
  • After flowering, plants will die to the ground and go dormant. Remove foliage and allow new leaves that return to remain over the winter.
  • Lightly mulch new plantings for the first winter.
  • Transplanting is difficult; die to the fleshy tap root.
