Hardy Kiwi

Zone: 4-8

Size: A large, vigorous twining vine growing up to 25-30 feet.

Location: Prefers a full sun location.

Flowering; Fragrant, white flowers in May-June followed by small, green edible fruit that is produced without the need for both male and female plants.

Maintenance: Prune right after flowering if needed to control size. However, pruning may limit potential fruit production.

Additional notes:

  • Hardy kiwi is more valued for its ornamental purposes than its ability to produce useable fruit.
